Description: This class is for those who have never embroidered. Learn the six basic stitches: Running, Back (or outline), Chain, Stem, French Knot and Lazy Daisy. Also learn how to put fabric on a hoop, how best to work with embroidery floss and how to select the proper needle.

Materials Included: Assortment of Embroidery threads, Hoops, Needles, Fabric and Designs

Instructor: Denise Millard recently retired from a full-time budget/accounting role in academia and now has a side hustle as a professional home organizer. Organizing energizes her and that energy shows up in her own, very diverse art projects and her vast skills as a teacher of all manners of needlework.

Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
