Description: This class is for those who have taken Beginner Sewing 1 or know how to use a sewing machine. We cover what most machines can do, like stitch variations, stitch length and width, zig zag capabilities, gathering stitch, darning stitch, applying binding and blind hemming. Students will make a sampler of stitches to have for reference and a simple project if time permits.

Materials Included: Sewing machines, fabrics and all necessary tools and materials

Instructor: Robin Reidy is a retired 25 year city of Pasadena Librarian with a lifelong interest in textile arts, especially sewing. She has created costumes for years with a favorites including Blue Boy, Princess gowns and Jedi robes

Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
