Fri 5/10 Upcycled Notebooks, 6-8pm

Ages: 14+

Description: Turn paper scraps & ephemera into carefully curated, personalized notebooks, journals, or sketchbooks. Students will learn rudimentary book binding skills & use a binding machine to craft their own unique notebook. Feel free to bring partially used notebooks or other paper ephemera to add to your creation.

Materials Included: A huge variety of papers, scraps and ephemera along with any tools and other materials necessary.

Instructor: Ellen Ogilvie is an artist & educator who has always enjoyed experimenting with different mediums. She is passionate about diverting waste & that comes through in her love of collage, mending, & making things. Her current artistic pursuits elevate materials that might otherwise end up in a landfill to create unique & personalized treasures. 

Location: All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
