Sun 5/5 Learn to use a Serger 1-3pm

Description: This very small class is for those who have never used a serger (overlock) sewing machine. We cover the threading of the machine and what the machine can do, like stitch variations and stitch length and width. Students may make a sampler of stitches to have for reference.

Materials Included: Sewing machines, fabrics and all necessary tools and materials

Instructor: Lauren Fonville is a sewing specialist, patternmaker and custom costumer with over 20 years of experience. She has worked on blockbuster films, prestige television series and Broadway-bound productions, including "Hacks," "Shazam! Fury of the Gods," "The Masked Dancer," "The Suicide Squad," "Mandalorian," "Deadwood," and more. All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
