Description: Sashiko is a form of decorative reinforcement stitching (or functional embroidery) from Japan. Traditional sashiko was used to reinforce points of wear, or to repair worn places or tears with patches. Students will learn a number of stitches and create their own sampler.

Materials Included: A variety of fabrics, threads and all necessary tools.

Instructor: Theresa Robinette is a life-long artisan specializing in all kinds of needlework, dyeing processes and fabric printing. She volunteers at Remainders regularly and has an extensive knowledge of fabrics.

Cancellation policy: To receive a refund minus a 20% cancellation fee email your request and order number to remainderspas@gmail.com at least 48 hours before the class. We need time to notify those on the waiting list so there is no refund if cancelled less than 48 hours.
