Every fourth Friday, Francine Loomis teaches all levels of sewing and quilting. With many years of experience, she has taught the young, the old and all of us in between with patience and understanding, regardless of student skill level. She will cover easy techniques with personal, step-by-step instructions to help you complete whatever project you are working on. Bring your own fabric or choose from the many fabrics available in the store.
Bring your ideas, pictures of something you want to make, a pattern you want to try, or an unfinished project to complete. She will work with each of her students to problem solve and insure success. All beginners will be assisted. All intermediate or advanced sewers will be allowed to move along at their own pace. Join her class for a nice evening out and spend time with like-minded sewists all working and have a good time together.
Sewing supplies to bring to class (if you have them):
Fabric scissors; Seam ripper; Rotary cutter; Fabric pins; Tape measurer; Extra Machine Needles (if you’re bringing your own machine); Optional: Pinking Shears
If you do not have some of the items, just bring what you have. There are plenty of tools and supplies to use at the first class. We’ll help you figure out what you need.
