Each week we offer a new creative learning project. For one fee, participants may attend on Thursday and Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. Come to any or all of these six hours to complete the project. Instruction is ongoing throughout the week so beginners are welcome. All materials are included but also feel free to bring some of your own items and ideas.

Class limited to 8 - Ages 14 and up
Week 1: June 28-30 - Comfy Pants: Make a pair of easy, elastic waist lounge pants with pockets from soft silky rayon or cotton jersey.
Week 2: July 5-7 - Cigar Box Collage/Assemblage: Create keepsake boxes using jewelry, beads, photos, velvet and more.
Week 3: July 12-14 - “Picnic” Totes & Zipper Wallets: Sew multi-pocketed totes for picnics, baby or travel and wallets for inside.
Week 4: July 19-21 - Oil Wash Landscapes: Paint a landscape using an easy layering technique on board with oils, erasers and fixative. No special skill needed.
Week 5: July 26-28 - Aprons Galore: Make an assortment of aprons – full size with crisscross back, clothespin, craft, gardening and children’s’ art aprons.
Week 6: August 2-4 - Black Pottery: Make and fire porcelain pottery using a traditional technique handed down by Native American ceramicists.
Week 7: August 9-11 - Handbags Galore: Make one of a kind handbags and totes from high-quality designer fabrics. Many styles to choose from or design your own.
Week 8: August 16-18 - Nature Printmaking: Make note cards, artwork, fabric items and more using mono-printing techniques and natural materials.
Week 9: August 23-25 - Small 9-patch quilts: Sew small baby quilts, lap throws or pillows using the simple 9-patch technique. Great for beginner or seasoned quilters.
Week 10: Aug 30-Sept 1 - Junk Journals: Make personalized journals with re-purposed items and ephemera, using collage, assemblage and book binding techniques.
