Wednesdays: 4 PM - 5:30 PM

This weekly sewing class is great for introducing young people to the world of sewing. Hand and machine skills will be covered. There will be a specific activity with materials provided and students who become proficient can choose their own projects. We will cover sewing tools, machine basics, machine and hand sewing techniques, fabric basics and more. Parents/Caregivers are welcome to stay and participate. (If you have your own sewing machine it's good to bring it, or we have some to use.)

Ages 9 and up

Thursdays: 11am-noon

A fun hour of creativity for kids who are not in school yet, accompanied by an adult. There is a different project each week with exciting and varied materials, designed to be fun for both children and adults. Kids experience different materials, creative problem solving, and skills that will serve them later when entering school.

Ages 3 and up: $10 per child (one adult can bring siblings); includes all materials.



Every Third Friday: 5 pm - 7 pm

This is an open studio for any skill level. Get help with projects, bring mending, learn to read patterns, exchange ideas, and share knowledge with other sewists.  Experienced teachers are always on hand to help.

If you have your own sewing machine it's best to bring it, or we have a few for new learners to use. Also, learn how to maintain a machine and troubleshoot problems.

Drop ins welcome: $15       |     Ages 16 and up - $10



Saturdays: 2 pm - 4 pm

Come and sew with others or learn. Bring clothing that you would like to mend or embellish and we will have lots of items to Fash Mash with. All FUN stuff! Just curious about sewing? This is the time to come and see how it all works.

No set fee - Donations gratefully accepted.



Every 1st and 3rd Saturday: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

A bi-weekly class to encourage creative freedom. Every other week there is a new project highlighting different materials to promote new skills and lots of fun. Sewing, printmaking, sculpture, collage, painting, building, drawing, book arts, robots… just to name a few.

Ages 6-15

$15 – all materials provided; discount for siblings



Every Third Saturday: 1 pm - 4 pm

Learn Monoprinting, and other printing techniques using a large and small press, hand tools and new techniques. Any skill level welcome. Materials are provided or bring your own project and materials. Feel free to bring decorative items to experiment with also.

Ages 16 and up - $20

Friday, March 30th: 5:00 - 7:00 PM

You have your plastic shopping bags in the car and are ready to be an eco-friendly grocery buyer. But do you really want to put those beautiful items in plastic? Remainders to the rescue! Come and make reusable and store-able nylon net produce bags. Join us for a fun evening of sewing - no experience necessary. We have all the supplies and a handy design. You will take home 4 bags of various sizes and never deal with plastic again while you are shopping. This activity is in partnership with Imperfect Produce.
